We're writing to let you know that our upcoming Meeting the Educator/Family Picnic on Thursday, September 25th, has been postponed. We'll be rescheduling it for the weekend after Thanksgiving and will send out a new date once it's confirmed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding.
This decision was made because of a recent directive from the school board. Due to low enrollment in some of our primary classes, we've been instructed to do a school-wide reorganization. This means that some educators may be reassigned to new classes or roles, and some students will be changing classes. We understand this is a frustrating and difficult time for everyone involved, especially our dedicated staff members.
The purpose of this reorganization is to ensure our school community has stability for the rest of the school year. Over the next two weeks, we'll be working diligently to look at our class sizes and adjust educator timetables. We are committed to making these changes with the least amount of impact and disruption to our students and staff.
We will be reaching out to families individually next week to let you know if your child's class is affected. Thank you again for your patience and cooperation as we navigate this process.
