Front Garden Renewal - Sunday May 25th

Our school’s front entrance garden has been neglected for years…until now! You're invited to help renew our school garden. 

WHEN: Sunday May 25th. Sign up at bit.ly/sevgardenhelp for a shift:

  ●  Clean-up (2 shifts: 9am-10:30am and 10:30am-12pm): Digging, loading trailer, tying branches, etc. - more physically demanding, including bending over and lifting.

  ●  Planting (2pm-4pm): Planting new seedlings & donated plants - less physically demanding.

Snacks & Child Care Provided: Light refreshments for volunteers. Child care provided in Kinder playground by Grade 6 & youth volunteers.

Thank you for your help and contribution to the renewal of our school front garden!


Looking for Perennial Plants 

As part of the Garden Renewal project, we are looking for donations of the following perennial plants. If you have any of the below plants in your garden that can be shared, we’d be grateful to have them:

  ●  Perennial Sage (Salvia)
  ●  Catmint (Nepeta)
  ●  Sea Thrift (Armenia)
  ●  Coneflower (Echinacea)
  ●  Stonecrop (Sedum)

End-of-Year Picnic: Save the Date!

Our annual End-of-Year picnic will take place on Monday June 23rd from 5:30-7pm (rain date: Wednesday June 25th). Get ready to close the year with a picnic in the school grounds, while enjoying some music and games. Be sure to save the date in your calendar! More details to come.
