As a School Council, we rely on parent and staff volunteers to make everything we do possible. Volunteering at Severn is a fun way to get involved, meet other parents & caregivers, and drop in on your child's classroom!
Here are some of the volunteer opportunities available in 2023-2024:
- Pizza Lunches - Our dedicated Pizza Team is on site every Tuesday 10:45-11:45 to distribute pizza to our students. We have parents coming biweekly, monthly, or just once or twice during the school year.
- School Library - Organizational tasks such as shelving books, shelf reading, and labeling during the school day. We're also in the early stages of planning a new Makerspace in our library.
- Special Events - Various daytime and after-hours events throughout the school year, such as Movie Nights, Book Fair, Picnic Social, Family Dance, Staff Appreciation, Story Night, etc.
